BECOME A HOST

PURPOSE
Tamboho is a platform built on the exciting idea of labor for learning. This innovative approach to education lets people participate in hands-on workshops in exchange for learning valuable new skills. Participants in these workshops, known as Helpers, collaborate with Hosts, who manage the workshops and share their expertise. Best of all, workshops on Tamboho are completely free of charge! At the end of each workshop, Helpers receive certificates of completion from Hosts, recognizing their dedication, the time they contributed, and the skills they gained.

BECOME A HELPER
Create an account
1. Click "Create account" at the top of the page. 2. Complete the form with your profile information. 3. Click "Submit".
Please note that profiles are reviewed manually. Allow 24 hours for your account to be activated.
Join a workshop
Click "Apply" next to the workshop you are interested in.
The workshop Host will be notified of your application and decide whether to accept it. If your application is accepted, you'll receive a notification in your inbox. Use the mailbox to discuss details with the Host, such as where and when to meet.
Get certified
At the end of the workshop, the Host can issue a certificate of participation, indicating the number of hours you participated and providing an assessment of your performance. Contact the Host directly via the mailbox to request a certificate. Once issued, the certificate will appear under My account > My certificates.
BECOME A HOST
To become a Host, you must first create an account as a Helper (see above).
Create a workshop
1. Click "Create workshop" on the main page. 2. Complete the form with information about the workshop. 3. Click "Submit".
Please note that workshop info are reviewed manually. Allow 24 hours for the workshop to appear in the database.
Invite Helpers (optional)
Once you have created a workshop, you have the opportunity to "invite" Helpers to the workshop. Please note that this is optional.
1. Look for Helpers who might be interested in joining the workshop based on their profile information or location. 2. Click "Invite" next to the of names of the Helpers you want to invite to the workshop. 3. The Helpers will be notified and will be invited to apply to the workshop.
Manage applications
1. Click "My account" on the main page. 2. Click "My workshops". You will see the Helpers who have applied to your workshop. 3. Click "Accept" next to the names of the Helpers you want to join the workshop.
The Helpers you invite will be notified. If you don't receive a response, you can use the mailbox to contact them and discuss details such as where and when to meet.
Issue certificates
1. Click "My account" on the main page. 2. Click "My workshops". 3. Click "Issue certificate" next to the Helper who participated in the workshop. 4. Complete the form with the number of hours the Helper spent on the project. You also have the opportunity to add a short assessment of their performance. |
